OME's hardware is crafted from solid brass, a natural material that can vary in terms of grains & texture. These are natural variations that give the product character, and does not count as a defect. Brass naturally tarnishes over time. If your brass hardware is looking a little dull, a metal polish will work wonders! Avoid contact with water as brass tarnishes faster in a humid environment.
